Candela Technology AB

Candela is developing electric hydrofoiling ferries. The first prototype was put in water last autumn. Ferry number two is planned to operate in the public transport system of Stockholm during Q3 this year. Citiprofile

Citiprofile helps to modelise the impact of sea-based human activites, to better protect the environment. The analysis and modelisation of historical GPS data provided by Citiprofile allows to determinate the optimal localisation of physical captors (video / sound / pollution), and furthermore to deploy a web solution integrating both historical (GPS) and real time data (AIS + physical captors) in a single solution

CIWI Egg

We are currently concentrating on advancing the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of our technology. It has successfully operated in a laboratory setting, but we now face the challenge of scaling it up for higher production. This involves changes in dimensions and the integration of logistics. Through this project, we aim to learn how to upscale our solution effectively. We are in the process of implementing it at large water treatment facilities. Once this project is completed, we will move to the next phase, where our system will be integrated with one treatment street of this water treatment facility.

Claim

In the framework of the CLAIM project, coordinated by H.C.M.R., New Naval Ltd (Greece) has developed an innovative floating boom (floating barrier) and marine litter collection and recovery system, the CLEAN "Tactical Recovery Accumulation System Hellas". This unparalleled, highly-efficient solution manages to collect and sustain litter and macroplastics at river mouths before entering into the open sea and affecting the marine ecosystem. The scale model was built at New Naval's facility in Lavrio, Greece in late 2018 and a prototype was deployed at the river mouth of Kifissos river in Athens, Greece in 2019. The effectiveness and capabilities of the system passed all quality assurance testing, confirming that the system is ready to be installed in active, long-term operational environments. It can continuously accumulate and remove marine litter from river mouths and can be a commercial product to be used by authorities and all stakeholders related to marine litter pollution.
