The project aimed at developing biobased and biodegradable trammel nets and testing them over three fishing seasons in three different ports in the north of France. SeaBird developed a formulation for the production of the monofilaments used to manufacture the nets. This project led to the production of the first prototype of multi-monofilament trammel fishing net in Europe. Fishermen evaluated fishing efficiency and the net integrity during use compared to conventional nets. The mechanical properties of the nets reached 82% of the reference nylon net and no significant differences in fishing efficiency were observed.

We aim to contribute to the urgently needed conservation and restoration of marine biodiversity, habitats and ecosystems in the North Sea. Oyster reefs enhance biodiversity, sequester carbon, reduce nitrogen and provide coastal protection. We are working to introduce 200 million native oysters in the Dutch North Sea and thus accomplish Europe's first large-scale oyster restoration project. Because local sourcing, risk mitigation and community engagement are central to our approach to achieving low cost and effective restoration, we will also bolster local economies that have been negatively impacted by the degradation of marine environments including the North Sea’s fishing communities.

Adderra is a project of ADD-GRUP created for the purpose of development, marketing and sales of solution for utility submetering and payment amongst market operators, landlords and tenants. ADDERRA Efficient Rental Resources System is a trading platform in the field of short-term letting (tenancy) to keep resources records (electricity, water, etc.) in a transparent manner.
Typically, a landlord includes the cost of utilities in the rent. In the calculations, the average values of total consumption, divided between tenants, depending on the rented area, are used. At the same time, the tenant overpays very often in order to cover potential expenses, and the Landlord risks underestimating the amount charged to Tenants and is forced to pay for additional costs.
In order to effectively manage rental resources, first of all, detailed information on consumption is needed - when, where and how much was consumed, differentiated for each specific housing.
ADDERA System based on individual utility metering is intended for hotels, guest houses and apartment buildings. Utilities actually used by a tenant excludes any hidden payments, which makes the conditions for house renting transparent and easy to understand for both the Tenant and Landlord.
Using the System can significantly reduce the consumption of resources and easily compensate for the possible increase in prices for utilities, since payment by the meter forces the tenant to save resources. Opportunities are created to increase energy efficiency through the use of energy-saving equipment exactly where it is especially necessary. In turn, reduced consumption has a positive effect on the environment.
ADDERRA System holds minimum information about the market players that allows seamless adjusting of the System to the specified regulations of each country. No personal data or money transfer data is included.
The solution consists of electricity and water meters, smartphone app, integrated payment platform Stripe and cloud-based management software.

Miniaturised tool called AEFishBIT has been designed to monitor individual farmed fish in a non-invasive manner. Weighing less than one gram, AEFishBIT is a tiny programmable & reconfigurable tri-axial accelerometer for data recording and processing. The prototype is externally attached to the fish operculum to monitor physical activity by mapping accelerations in x- and y-axes, while operculum beats (z-axis) serve as a measurement of respiratory frequency. The device has been tested and validated in gilthead sea bream and European sea bass. Preliminary works with cultured salmon also show promising results. Visual observations regarding tissue damage, feeding behaviour and circulating levels of stress markers did not suggest a negative impact from device tagging. To the best of the researchers’ knowledge there is currently no other tagging device that provides a simultaneous measurement of both physical activity and respiratory frequency in a non-invasive manner. Field tests with free-swimming fish facing a wide array of biotic and abiotic factors have highlighted the association of AEFishBIT measurements with better performance or differences in stress and disease resilience

Aerones is developing robotic offshore wind turbine maintenance system that allows inspections and repairs with robotic system replacing dangerous and slow manual work. Aerones already has developed robotic onshore wind turbine maintenance system up to the commercialization stage. With the robotic solution wind turbine maintenance service will become less resource intensive. It won’t require rope access and will be manageable remotely, therefore raising a significant security level for workers. The maintenance service will be provided 3 to 6 times faster than the current solutions; therefore, turbine will be stopped for less time and income loss will be reduced significantly. The service also will be less expensive therefore inspections will be available more often. Those early stage inspections will prevent wind turbine blades from progressing to serious damage where produced energy drops by 30% or turbine even stops. Therefore efficiency of the wind turbine will increase and its lifetime will prolong. Technology has a significant impact on reduction of CO2 (up to 6 400 000 t of CO2 emissions yearly), reduction of marine pollution (up to 37% in 5 years) while the blue economy is thriving, therefore getting closer to goals set in the international strategies.
