EyeFish

Our ongoing blue economy project for aquaculture typically focuses on sustainable and innovative practices to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and environmental sustainability of aquaculture operations.
Eyefish combines three key features. Firstly, it utilizes advanced technologies such as AI and depth vision to measure the length and width of fish samples, estimate their weight, and calculate the mean weight in the cage, enabling the estimation of biomass. Secondly, it employs AI to detect skin symptoms of various fish diseases, thereby preventing widespread outbreaks. Finally, it provides a platform for centralized farm management, allowing the fish farmer to monitor essential parameters, KPIs, inventory management, and team collaboration, all within a single solution.

Problem we are solving
In today’s world, as the climate changes, we are facing big challenges, especially a decrease in food resources. To deal with this problem, we are focusing on finding new ways to produce food, like aquaculture. But even with all the new technology, the numbers show that the way we currently do aquaculture is old-fashioned and not as advanced as it should be.

Based on research by ONUDI, we see that using outdated methods leads to problems, especially by using too much fish food, which makes the process of converting the food into fish not as efficient as it should be. Ideally, the process should be between 1.5 and 1.8, but the way things are done globally leads to much higher numbers, around 2.1 to 2.5, which is not good.

This inefficiency drives up costs, cause disease outbreaks and damage wide sea areas.

As a response to these challenges, EyeFish was created. it is an advanced technology-based solution designed specifically for fish farmers to monitor the complete growth cycle of the fish. All that is required is to place it in the fish cage and operate it with ease.

Our Startup EXYPNOTECH stands out in the aquaculture landscape by offering Eyefish, an innovative product that revolutionizes fish farming. Eyefish leverages advanced computer vision technology, data analytics, and real-time monitoring to provide actionable insights into fish welfare , growth patterns, and zootechnical conditions. This precision-driven approach empowers farmers to make informed decisions and take immediate actions to optimize resource utilization, improve the productivity of their fish farms, prevent disease outbreak and ensure the well-being of their aquatic ecosystem.

Sustainable Impact on Blue Ecconomy
Exypnotech is committed to contributing to a more sustainable future for the aquaculture industry. By enabling efficient resource management, disease prevention, and optimal growth conditions, disease prevention, Eyefish minimizes waste, reduces the need for treatments that may harm the fish populations in the long run, and supports responsible aquaculture practices.
