Dmitri Jekimov - CEO and owner. 2006 - Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing (4 years program, equals to Master level), university TalTech 2019 - MBA, Master in International Business Administration, university TalTech Dmitri is a seasoned business executive offering 15+ years of experience in the management, sales, engineering, and manufacturing of lifting and handling equipment for marine and offshore industries. Possessing an innovative technical mindset coalesced with the commercial savvy to execute versatile and progressive management roles. Fluent in English, Estonian and Russian.
We develop and produce on-demand Winches, Launch and Recovery Systems and Instrument Deployment Units for the handling of equipment or gear located underwater, either it is fishing trawler, remotely operated vehicle or scientific probe.
Based on customer requirements, vessel type, or application area, we can configure the equipment with a wide array of features.
We have 2 innovative products in our portfolio, which have not been yet commercialized):
- On the go CTD system, which allows performing CTD profiling without the need of stopping the vessel every time. Resulting in a significant reduction of ship fuel consumption and CO2 emissions during CTD profiling.
- GT-Series Instrument Deployment Unit (GTDU) for small survey vessels (approx. 8-15 m LOA), which allows saving fuel and reducing CO2 emissions by utilizing the most effective cruising speed of the boat. Without GTDU survey boats can't go faster than 15 knots while cruising speed is in most cases over 20 knots.
