The entrepreneurs are five naval architects with 10-15 years experience each of us in offshore engineering both O&G and offshore renewables (offshore wind and wave and tidal). The CEO, Bernardino Counago, MSc Naval Architect from Polytechnic University of Madrid, has spent 12 years in the development of fixed and floating wind offshore projects. - Expert in offshore engineering and marine renewables energies. - Lead design roles on pioneering and innovative offshore projects in companies like Iberdrola, Tecnalia, Esteyco and GMC deepwater. - Author of several patents about floating wind devices - Best Young Naval Architecture career in 2018 awarded by Spanish Naval Architects Association AINE - Best European poster on its field. EWEA 2016 - 2 Gold medals by AINE for his work related to floating wind projects
BlueNewables is a technology and engineering services provider. We own a family of technologies for the offshore wind and solar markets. We are approaching BlueInvest program to rise funding for the PV-bos offshore solar technology.
PV-bos will become one of the first oceanic floating solar devices in the world. It is a unique, modular, easy to industrialize, cost-effective and easy to build & install device. Oriented to markets where the soil is scarce or expensive, isolated networks, islands etc.
We are contributing to the Energy Transition by smartly designing a new propietary floating solar concept, bringing the experience from the O&G and floating wind with an innovative approach adapted to the specific requirements of the floating solar requirements.
