About Us
Emeric Leveau-Vallier holds a master's degree in entrepreneurship from INSEEC Paris Business School.
He was then president of the school's sailing association (INSEEC Marine).
Between 2009 and 2012, he was project manager and skipper for a nautical events company and ocean racing stable (Archambault by BGRace) and ocean racing project manager for Bureau Vallée - Louis Burton.

Between 2015 and 2018, he was in charge of development for a nautical guide to safety at sea (Safetic SAS).

In 2016, he obtained his Yachtmaster diploma and noted the regulatory complexity of the skipper's profession and the absence of a simple, comprehensive marketplace.
From this observation, he created Capt'n Boat in 2018.

Problem we are solving
Through our platform, Capt'n Boat organizes the market, which until now has been complex and dematerialized, and facilitates access to professional sailors by providing a regulatory framework, democratizing professional yachting and combating the precariousness of its professions.
Our aim is to enable anyone looking for a sailor for convoying, chartering, coaching or support, to find the right profile in compliance with maritime regulations, with insurance cover and the certainty that their social security and employer's contributions will be paid.

Sustainable Impact on Blue Ecconomy
Capt'n Boat is a certified marine labor company which, thanks to its unique regulatory algorithm, enables legal and automated connections between customers and sailors. Capt'n Boat provides a professional civil liability insurance and multi-risk insurance.
