Problem we are solving
Sustainable boating becomes essential !
Not an opinion, but an obligation, result of public demand !

> Millions of leisure boats are made of 80% composite materials, for which there is still no efficient solution to reuse !

1. In recent decades, there have been more and more people on the coast to indulge in various and varied nautical activities.
2. This human presence in contact with a natural and fragile environment is not without consequences.
3. While navigators and boating can reduce their impact and participate in the preservation of the marine environment, it is important to remember that their practices also require a preserved environment and that they can be affected by the deterioration of the marine environment.
4. The ecological transition crosses, like a groundswell, the prospects for the development of nautical industries and services.
5. Essentially multifaceted, this transition affects business life as well as nautical practice, with the objective of reducing, wherever possible, the human footprint on the natural environment.

> The impact of water activities may only be a drop in the ocean, but it is a concentrated drop !

This observation was our < Leitmotif > with the aim of shaping the future of innovative and sustainable yacht building within the framework of a New Circular Yacht Economy while at the same time giving disabled boaters access to navigation.

Sustainable Impact on Blue Ecconomy
> BOUM Boat™ Next Generation, designed for boaters to navigate in accordance with their ecological convictions and to offer access to boaters with reduced mobility !
1. The New Circular Yacht Economy is a holistic approach by respecting the entire value chain and product life cycle:
- from design to construction, green marketing, sustainable use to full recycling.
- the implementation of 7 Sustainable Development Goals.
2. Sustainable materials allows eco-responsible manufacturing and reuse !
- Pollutant-free working environment
- Use of renewable resources
- Save of energy, waste, water
- Reduces CO2 emissions
3. Innovative green technologies on board enable sustainable navigation !
- Antifouling, Electric motors, Fuel cells, Hydrogenerator, Photovoltaic, Sails, Fittings and rigging, Treatment of wastewater and waste ...
4. We strive to preserve, regenerate or restore the value of resources in every stage of the product life cycle with circular strategies based on the 10-R concept !
5. An innovative concept not yet developed by the yachting industry.
6. The demand for vessels with less impact on the environment is increasing among boaters.

The 5 pillars of the project

> Technique : A fully recyclable and/or recoverable catamaran upon dismantling !
From the construction of N° 1 in 2024, the environmental impact is greatly reduced, thanks to various technical innovations on the boat, in particular by improving the current use of monolithic materials for the construction of the underwater parts (polyester / epoxy resins fiberglass reinforced) with eco-responsible natural fiber reinforced composites.
> Societal : Aware of environmental, societal and economic issues, the project is part of an approach in the « Corporate Social Responsibility » and the « Sustainable Development Goals » !
Goal 8 : DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
Goal 9 : INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Goal 10 : REDUCED INEQUALITIES
Goal 12 : RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION
Goal 13 : CLIMATE ACTION
Goal 14 : LIFE BELOW WATER
Goal 17 : PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS
Innovative design of a cruising catamaran for boaters with reduced mobility, to offer them access to navigation !
> Collaborative : Bring together associative, financial, industrial and scientific partners for the implementation of the project !
The creation of a Société Coopérative d'Intérêt Collectif (SCIC), planned for 2024, with the aim of the prototyping of the BOUM Boat™ Next Generation, the production and marketing of the brand.
It will have 8-10 partners, Blue Ocean Upcycle Marine Boat, the shipyard and the suppliers of the raw materials and technologies essential for the construction.
The SCIC is an innovative commercial company in the legal form of a Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS).
It has an economic purpose of collective interest and social utility an allows various stakeholders to join on this common project
> Scalable : The scalable concept, we want to see it become the < n°1 > of a new era of construction of pleasure boats with advances in environmentally friendly technologies !
> Manufacturing : Made in France
French and European companies, which already have promising experiences in terms of sustainable development in the boating industry, have joined the project !
