B'ZEOS
B’ZEOS is composed by a team of scientists who work in-house on material formulation development, compounding, and processing. The technical team is composed of Adriana Kyvik, a chemical engineer who has a PhD in Materials Science, and Camilla Dore, a mechanical engineer, who also has a PhD in materials science. The business side is managed by Guy Maurice, founder and SeaEO of B’ZEOS, who has a background in waste management and extensive experience in project management with organizations like WHO, ECWP/Reneco, and Equinor.
B'ZEOS' product features home-compostable seaweed based packaging to address the issues posed by petroleum-based plastic. Plastic pollution is ubiquitous and poses a tremendous threat to the well-being of the oceans, aquatic ecosystems, and humans. Additionally, with only 10% of current plastic waste being recycled, several emerging regulations banning single-use plastics, and a shift in consumer preference conventional plastic products are progressively being phased out. In this context, B’ZEOS’ main goal is to provide various industries with a profitable and sustainable alternative to conventional plastic, by using the renewable biomass of seaweed.
Our value proposition lies in providing various industries with a revolutionary alternative that addresses the environmental challenges posed by traditional plastics. By harnessing the renewable biomass of seaweed, we offer packaging materials that are bio-based, biodegradable but also home-compostable. Moreover, our technology is scalable, price competitive, and compatible with conventional machinery.
