About Us

Problem we are solving
We have developed an atomized RAS suitable especially for large-scale, cost-efficient indoor shrimp production tailored for local production in western markets (the SmartReef). Offering local and sustainable premium shrimp to the broad market. Luxury made affordable because our technology can produce at scale and a price level that is suitable for large scale production. Operating on this price-level is very new in Europe as our competitors can only produce for small niche markets as their production costs are very high. The SmartReef is low in energy and water consumption as well as eradicates a lot of manual work. It is low in Capex, because as we developed new approaches for the farm setup.

Shrimp are the ideal species to grow in Europe, as the European market is far away from the producing continents and does not have a Made in Europe label yet.

Sustainable Impact on Blue Ecconomy
Affordable, no antibiotics/additives, no environmental destruction, no landscapes occupied for organic shrimp production, minimal carbon footprint, never frozen, farm to fork, short transport distances, local production, sashimi quality, unique crystal-blue color, authentic crunchy and sweet-nutty taste, animal friendly (best water parameters, crystal clear water, reduction of stress);
