Steven, R&D manager, filed his first patent on a circular wave pool concept in 2006. He acquired experience and expertise in marine operations and renewable techniques. Combining the experiences, Steven designed a concept for a wave energy convertor (WEC) and led all design stages (incl. 3 patent applications). HIs experience in the wave energy sector have led to an improved concept for a wave pool. Geerts entrepreneurial skills have contributed to the success of different businesses recognizing the financial needs of the company and respond to them quickly. He was also involved in the development of the WEC Stephanie has 10+ years experience in urban planning and blue economy. Since 2015 she supports projects on marine pollution, circular economy, aquaculture &; fisheries, food(fish)processing, wind and wave energy. The variety of disciplines reflects in her cross-sectoral and international network that consists of governmental institutions as well as companies.
AllWaves brings technology to the market to generate artificial waves in a surf lake, reflecting the natural setting as much as possible.
The Playgrounds device is unique as it is the first underwater wave generating tool. As the device is located under water, a safe environment with low visual and noise impact is created.

The unique device is able to create 4 surfzones and host different levels of surfers (beginner/advanced) at the same time without interfering each other.
