Wave Daedalus

Wave Daedalus is a blue economy project focused on the design and development of a wave energy converter with a dual role, near shore and in vessels. Wave Daedalus technology has been developed by EWD's founder, Dimitrios Lygeris, and is based on the operating principle of the free gyroscope. Using a lever, a floater is connected to the gyroscopic mechanism, which converts the free motion of the floater into rotational motion. This solution combines simple design with high energy efficiency, low manufacturing cost and easy removal. It allows for energy harvesting regradless of the direction of waves. It’s deployment can be scaled according to the energy needs of the customer and can meet power requirements from 0.5 kW to 100 kW or more (subject to conditions and deployment area). Daedalus represents a new approach to positively impacting the energy sector and contributing to sustainable shipping.

Wellness Lab EU

AEYLIN offers the most sustainable and the lowest dalton size marine collagen on the market today. We have several years of transactional data having tested the consumer market in UK and EU. We know what the consumer wants from collagen and what they´re trying to achieve. We do so by remaining fully traceable from sea to shelf and develop marine collagen from the icy and pristine waters of Iceland.

X1 Wind

X1 Wind is developing a disruptive floating system to change the paradigm of the wind energy industry. Unlike other solutions, which use “marinized” onshore wind turbines on the top of adapted oil and gas platforms designs, we have designed an integrated system to take advantage of the offshore environment, resulting in a cost competitive concept. Our technology has been proven, and a prototype will be in waters of the Canary Islands by beginning of 2021 (reaching TRL 7). We are now accelerating to prepare a commercial pilot unit (reaching TRL 9) with partners and investors willing to bring a disruptive technology to the market, that will make floating offshore wind cost competitive
