Water Biosense Monitoring is WOLA´s current project dedicated to the development and optimization of automated analytical equipment that integrates different biological, biochemical, microbiological, and physicochemical parameters of interest in the water field. The system has the capacity of monitoring the different analytical parameters simultaneously in order to have online feedback and give early warnings through AI to prevent possible drastic problems and optimize the process.

Wave Daedalus is a blue economy project focused on the design and development of a wave energy converter with a dual role, near shore and in vessels. Wave Daedalus technology has been developed by EWD's founder, Dimitrios Lygeris, and is based on the operating principle of the free gyroscope. Using a lever, a floater is connected to the gyroscopic mechanism, which converts the free motion of the floater into rotational motion. This solution combines simple design with high energy efficiency, low manufacturing cost and easy removal. It allows for energy harvesting regradless of the direction of waves. It’s deployment can be scaled according to the energy needs of the customer and can meet power requirements from 0.5 kW to 100 kW or more (subject to conditions and deployment area). Daedalus represents a new approach to positively impacting the energy sector and contributing to sustainable shipping.

We're interested in discovering what other materials can be powdered to produce a protein/collagen product ready for human consumption. We're new in this space but we've so far marketed marine collagen from Pangasius, Clarias Gariepinus, and Tilapia which has been received well on the direct to consumer market. We're committed to becoming more sustainable, more transparent by working directly with fisheries, zero waste both in manufacturing and product packaging.

Wellness Lab formulates marine collagen peptides and superfoods blends resulting in flavoured collagen powders that can be added to foods. Using only natural ingredients and sustainable processes (Friend of the Sea®), we'd like to connect with EU investors.
The business is a direct to consumer retail businesses currently operating solely online and has an established presence in the UK since 2017. We market the product as a ready to consume protein to be added to food, mainly coffee and lattes.
