Our company deals with the development and service of electronic devices, so we used the experience and knowledge of the past years and developed exactly the kind of anchor chain counter that one would want to have on the vessel. Due to our own production of communication modules, we have a great advantage here, as we were able to fully adapt our device to the requirements of use. The solution is basically a BRI (Boat Remote) anchor chain counter and controller, which meets the expectations of even demanding sailors and is also much more cost effective than competition. With its help, anchoring without assistants is easy, as the anchor can be lowered from behind the helm and the vessel controlled at the same time. The length of the lowered chain is clearly displayed on the large display, so the anchor maneuver can be carried out without any problems. Even if we do not pay attention to the length of the lowered or raised chain, we will not be able to accidentally unscrew or wind the entire chain. A sound warns us of this, but since we usually miss it, we added an automatic stop before the end position, which stops the winch operation even if the button is held down. Pressing the button again will resume the operation of the windlass, and with this we were warned that the final position is close and that we must be careful that the anchor does not swing and hit the side of the vessel. After successful sales in regional market we have decided that we want to enter the global market.

Hefring Marine is an Icelandic technology company establishing itself as the source for marine vessel intelligence, providing operators of small to medium-sized vessels with data-driven solutions that generate critical and actionable insights to amplify fleet operations and monitoring capabilities. Vessel operators face challenges in reducing emissions, cutting fuel costs, and ensuring safety. Our flagship solution, IMAS, harnesses AI, sensor data, and edge computing to deliver real-time operational assistance on board while centralizing vessel data for seamless monitoring, analytics, and reporting, helping to enhance onboard safety, make more efficient use of fuel, and ensure vessel survivability. It helps operators meet sustainability goals, improve efficiency, and reduce their workload. Our customers primarily operate within the domains of rescue, law enforcement, and defense, but also crew transfer, fisheries, pilotage, and offshore support.

IADYS is a robotics and artificial intelligence company serving the environment. Its robotized products (Jellyfishbot, Jellyfishbot Expert and Mobile Oil Skimmer / MOS) collect floating waste and oil from the surface of the water, protect biodiversity and guarantee safe intervention for users. We are curently working on a docking station for our robots, allowing them to charge themselves, to clean and empty the nets in full autonomy.
