ALGOLESKO, one of the European leaders in offshore seaweed farming with 10 years of experience and R&D, is accelerating into the premium food market and aiming to develop feed and biostimulant market by increasing its yield on 370 ha of concessions.

Algolesko farms and processes organic seaweed on Natura 2000 maritime concessions to meet a demand for healthier and sustainable food. With 10 years of experience Algolesko has developed a unique know how and assets. This expertise allows full control of the production value chain: hatchery, maritime infrastructure, management, seaweed stabilisation and B2B commercialisation. Maritime infrastructure developed by Algolesko is ecologically friendly and is proven technology, that managed to weather the last storm in Britany with more than 130 km/m of wind. Algolesko owns a marine territory of substantial size, foreseeing the growing needs of the market in macro algae. Today the company owns 370 hectares on Natura 2 000 preserved sites, where the seaweed benefit from pure waters. In addition to these hectares, 300 ha are in development. Algolesko has a unique expertise in the transformation process of their seaweed. The taste, texture, and colour of Algolesko products are exclusive and stand out from other products on the European market. This premium product satisfies customers with sale >1M€, 50 Michelin starred chefs and restaurants, 40 clients in Agrifood Industry, 20 distributors in France & Europe and 1 distributor in Japan. Algolesko has a clear strategy serving a strong ambition: becoming one of the biggest seaweed farmers in 10 years in Europe. To meet this target, Algolesko has 4 segments of growth: - 2-3 years: Food product development in Europe and Asia - 4-6 years: Run denser concessions with shellfish co-farming (IMTA) - 7-9 years: Co-developing concessions in Europe - 10-12 years: Large-scale cultivation on offshore windfarm concessions.

AlongRoute

AlongRoute comes to revolutionize the way marine forecasts are produced by surrogating conventional numerical modeling with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, for use within the cargo shipping industry. At this stage, the solution already provides reliable forecasts for the Mediterranean Sea and its scope is to aid in vessel management operations such as route optimization for lowering the risk of damage to vessels, cargo, and crews, as well as for maximizing fuel efficiency within the constraints of the planned arrival time. The core innovation lies in the utilization of AI techniques which leverage the “knowledge” that lies within reanalysis data and allow for better accuracy without any physical modeling, especially during rough weather at sea.

Alveus d.o.o.

Combining the knowledge of naval architecture, material sciences, and mechanical engineering, the COMPA method features the application of carbon (CFRP) and glass fibres mixed with epoxy resin/adhesive onto a damaged surface. By curing, the resin hardens and bonds to the surface permanently. The resin impregnated fibres bonded to the surface of the damaged part reinstate it to its original strength. Finally, this procedure creates a solid new layer of material that provides full water tightness. Our team provides COMPA Repairs service while future development is based on the sales of licences (for service and the software).
