Martin Ryen has a background in Molecular Biotechnology and founded the company in 2013 based on research regarding the development of antibiotic resistance in nature. Has since been highly rewarded as an entrepreneur and focus today on business development.
Christian Ryen has a background in Industrial economics and previously worked with environment and efficiency organization in large companies. Currently he work as COO and focus on organizational structure and sale processes.
Maria Humble has a background as Ass. Prof. in Industrial Biotechnology and work as CTO. She heads optimization and development initiatives and work with customer project implementations.
Micropollutants cause many of the most concerning environmental problems in water. Current solutions on the market are expensive, work hazardous and complicated, causing industries to rather go with expensive combustion solutions and municipalities to resist implementation. Too increase adaption of technologies to prenvent these problems and lower cost for society, there is need for simple and low cost solutions that will be accepted by the market.
Zymatic offer a solution for micropollutants based on a naturla process by enzymes. The solution is implemented as a simple sand-filter and offer great sustainability aspects. These aspects make the solution low-cost and simplify the adaption of the technology into the market.
The business focus mainly on recurring revenue business, and by having a more aggressive market approach, the goal is to build up a customer portfolio that can finance future operations.
