oclean gGmbH

We use various formats to explain the topic of waste, plastic and how to handle it. In order to achieve this, we organize public waste collection campaigns, so-called Clean Ups, for everyone in the city of Hamburg (and beyond), offer Consciousness Classes (workshops) in the B2B and educational sector and organize Consciousness Events (e.g. clothes-swapping event, sustainable Christmas market, etc.). With oclean we want to encourage a rethinking in the handling of our resources and the environment in an easily accessible way. For this very reason, we, the three sisters Hannah, Lena and Marie founded oclean, in order to encourage people to actively reduce their waste and plastic consumption in the long term, without pointing a finger and with an intrinsic motivation. Everyone can join oclean without any effort- to make the world a little bit better together!

ODYBOAT

Odyboat is developing a shared maritime mobility platform that enables users to book anything from a single seat to a full boat or an entire fleet, supported by last-minute optimization features that maximize onboard occupancy. The project directly contributes to the Blue Economy by enhancing the use of existing nautical assets, reducing unnecessary maritime traffic, generating income for local operators, activating coastal micro-economies, integrating sustainable land-based services, and promoting low-impact access to the sea. The model transforms underused resources into economic, social, and tourism value, creating an integrated ecosystem that supports efficiency, circularity, and local growth while preserving the marine environment.

ODYBOAT

1. Company Snapshot Name: Odyboat Stage: Pre-launch / Pre-seed Sector: Blue Economy – Marine Mobility – Coastal Tourism Tech Model: Two-sided digital marketplace with flexible booking (single seat, full boat, multi-boat, last-minute dynamic pricing) Founder: Raffaele Moscagiuro Email: commander@odyboat.com – Italy 2. Value Proposition Odyboat introduces a new paradigm in marine mobility and aims to become a true economic engine for coastal territories and maritime communities. The platform provides a flexible and modular booking system that allows users to reserve: • a single seat • multiple seats, up to the entire vessel • several boats simultaneously for events or large groups • last-minute seats through a smart dynamic pricing model By connecting verified skippers, underused vessels and local coastal businesses, Odyboat creates a digital infrastructure that: • generates income • creates new jobs • strengthens local value chains • supports sustainable and inclusive coastal development Odyboat is not only a mobility solution – it is an economic accelerator capable of activating entire territories. 3. The Problem The marine and coastal ecosystem suffers from long-standing inefficiencies: • boats remain unused for most of the year • access to the sea is fragmented, costly and poorly digitalised • coastal experiences lack standardisation and visibility • communities lack an engine capable of transforming maritime potential into real economic growth Demand exists, the coastline exists, and the boats exist — but the infrastructure to connect them is missing. 4. The Odyboat Solution Odyboat provides a complete digital system built to operate across diverse maritime environments. A. Single-Seat Booking Democratises access to marine mobility and enables spontaneous micro-routes. B. Full-Boat Booking Ideal for families, groups and private customised experiences. C. Multi-Boat Coordination A signature feature that synchronises several vessels for: • weddings • large groups • tour operators • corporate events • destination managers Departure times, availability and payments are centralised. D. Last-Minute Smart Filling A dynamic pricing engine optimises remaining seats, improving: • skipper revenues • route occupancy • user accessibility • overall operational efficiency E. Verified Skipper Network A rigorous compliance check ensures: • identity verification • boating licence • insurance • vessel safety certification • adherence to local regulations F. Integrated Safety & Compliance • secure in-app communication • traceable payments • real-time marine weather • emergency SOS with geolocation • travel and transaction logs 5. Impact & Sustainability Economic Impact – Odyboat as a Job Creation Engine Odyboat is designed to generate employment and stimulate local economies. The platform creates: • new revenue opportunities for skippers and small boat owners • new professional roles in marine mobility • indirect jobs for coastal businesses (hospitality, artisans, guides, rentals) • new demand for technical services (maintenance, mechanics, marinas) • opportunities for young residents to offer local experiences Odyboat turns the sea into a distributed and scalable economic ecosystem. Environmental Impact • optimises existing fleets • reduces pressure on land-based tourism • encourages low-impact, slow and sustainable travel • promotes responsible coastal mobility Social Impact • makes the sea more accessible • strengthens community identity • enhances local cultural and maritime heritage 6. Pilot Area & Scalability Architecture A. Active Pilot Area Gulf of Poets (La Spezia – Portovenere – Lerici) Chosen for its: • dense network of micro-routes • strong maritime culture • local operator availability • immediate integration with coastal activities B. Scalable Architecture (Coasts, Archipelagos, Lakes, Rivers) Although the pilot is currently focused on the Gulf of Poets, Odyboat is engineered to operate across a wide range of navigable water ecosystems, including: coastal regions archipelagos and islands major tourist ports navigable lakes passable rivers An Interconnected Aquatic Ecosystem Where geography allows, Odyboat can connect: • coasts ↔ rivers • rivers ↔ lakes • ports ↔ islands • coastal hubs ↔ inland waterways These connections create a seamless ecosystem of mobility, tourism and economic opportunities. Strategic Economic Engine This architecture supports: • market expansion across diverse territories • new job opportunities beyond the coast • multi-seasonal activity (not limited to summer) • long-term international scalability 7. Alignment with Blue Economy Priorities Odyboat aligns with the pillars of the European Blue Economy: • digital transformation of maritime services • optimisation of existing assets • economic development for coastal communities • sustainable short-range marine mobility • low-impact tourism models • social inclusion and local empowerment • readiness for multi-country EU integration 8. Objectives for Collaboration with European Ecosystems Odyboat aims to access: • strategic mentorship • support for cross-border scale-up • maritime-focused investors • EU innovation programmes (BlueInvest, EIC, coastal clusters) • visibility in high-potential coastal and island markets 9. OpenMode

Our project adapts a product that we already have in the market (high-durability floating farms for mussel harvesting) to be adapted for different sea-basins, be connectable to reduce the transportation costs, and to have remote monitoring to facilitate the farmer works. Considering the resiliency and affordability proven by these farms, the project also adapts their use for the solar floating energy sector. The project has five TRL7 pilots that sum up to 1000 m2 in three different basins for demonstration activities.

Origin by Ocean Flagship biorefinery for invasive and sustainably cultivated seaweeds

Origin by Ocean is a deep-technology biorefinery company. With our technology we can utilize any brown algae, enabling us to utilize those invasive brown algae species that have the most negative effect on the marine environment and those cultivated brown algae which provide the most positive ecosystem services. We thus revive the oceans with profit, addressing the global multibillion environmental challenge of artificial nutrient overload of our oceans. We turn this environmental challenge into an opportunity in our multiproduct high efficiency biorefineries. We produce biobased ingredients such as emulsifiers and pigments for fast moving goods manufacturers within food, beverage, brewery, cosmetics, dairy and domestic detergents. We are building a billion euro company and global market leader in the nutrient removal and algae biorefining business.
