To communicate with each other, microorganisms such as cells and microbes release into the extracellular space chemical messengers that change the ionic concentration and the potential at the interface between the cells and a sensing electrode where the microorganism adhere. These electrochemical bursts can be detected as small voltage signals. The sensor detects these bioelectrical signals in real time in a non-invasive way. The extracellular detected signals are strongly related with the biological activity of the cell population. Therefore, it provides direct information about the communication network. The sensor is capable to detect faint perturbations induced by external agents, such as contaminants, or drugs. The instrument can be used laboratory for research purposes. For example, to screen bioactive compounds or even operate in remote aquatic environments, namely in oceans and in lakes for high precision and real-time pollutants detection.

For the world that needs higher level of positioning and movement accuracy, we offer advanced monitoring services that combine sensors, software and satellite data – for greater precision, ease of process, and cost efficiency, at first for the maritime industry. We have at this point two service products - monitoring of ship movement, and monitoring of structural changes. We currently have one pilot in a port in Indonesia for structural deformation monitoring, and another starting in December for berthing aid monitoring with Fortune 500 company. But next we will expand beyond the maritime industry to offer monitoring services more broadly, at first in Asia, but then in other parts of the world. We will also contribute to autonomous transport through our expertise in positioning accuracy. We are a 3-person team, but take advantage of sales and R&D partners in Asia.
