CRUSE Offshore GmbH (COG)

We are working on floating, wind-powered "Offshore H2 Generators" that will be operated in sea areas with high wind speeds without a power grid connection. The hydrogen produced is then immediately stored in a liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) and transported at intervals by shuttle tanker to nearby industrial ports (cf. FPSO process). We have been invited by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action to submit applications for "Prototype development of a floating offshore H2 generator and planning of GW offshore hydrogen farms". Now, with the help of BlueInvest, we want to start planning the financing of a prototype. This is a requirement for the subsequent construction of GW hydrogen farms with industrial/VC-investors within the EEZs of European states.

About Us
Founded in 2017, CRUSE Offshore GmbH (COG) is a spin-off of a research project for floating wind turbines. COG is owned by Mr. Jens Cruse and several private investors. It exists through government-funded research grants and private capital providers.
Now that the development is moving towards prototyping and the dimensions of the capital requirements are becoming much larger, so the COG is seeking for industrial partners and VC capital providers.

Problem we are solving
r2fuel® Our solution: green fuels and green methanol instead of coal and oil - produced on site, where biogenic residues and waste are waiting for disposal.

Sustainable Impact on Blue Ecconomy
The modular systems r2fuel® made up of container units can be transported flexibly wherever green fuels are to be produced regionally quickly and flexibly from residual biomass and waste, directly where they are needed. Without long construction times and transport distances, simply efficient.
