Problem we are solving
Wsense is proudly providing its technology for contributing to SDG13 (Climate Action) and SDG14 (Life Below Water), in order to support: a) sustainable aquaculture b) providing missing big data on the oceans also for understanding and facing climate change c) support monitoring and optimization of offshore plants including offshore renewables.

Sustainable Impact on Blue Ecconomy
The main problems with existing technology for underwater are

• Satellite technologies provide only low-depth information

• Existing legacy systems are complex, marginally versatile , expensive and “cable-intensive”

• Lack of underwater real time data generates a huge knowledge gap and might lead to uncontrolled adverse phenomena.


To face those problems, Wsense has invented and patented an Underwater wireless Mesh networks, using multimodal (acoustical/optical) technology (the same that dolphins, whales and other use!).
