Problem we are solving
NoviOcean is a hybrid 500+kW wave energy converter, now moving into TRL 7, full scale design, construction, and deployment. It has a rectangular shape, 38 x 8 meters, lifts up to 600 tons 10 000 times per day, multiple times more than any other. This enormous force is transferred via the well proven hydraulic cylinder to the likewise well proven Pelton turbine. It is actually the standard hydro power plant, turned upside down, placed on a rectangular float and coupled to a water filled hydraulic cylinder.
On top of the float is 750 sqm / 120 kW solar panels, complementary in power delivery, seasonal and daily.
